Learn to Race The Learn to Race Course, 2 days (minimum). These courses have two days duration and are designed for sailors who wish to start taking part in sailing races or for people who wish to improve their racing skills. Learn to Race with Sail In Asia and you will have access to a wide variety of sailing craft in which to learn or improve your racing skills. Our racing fleet includes sports boats, high performance catamarans and trimarans through to "top of the line" racing monohulls ranging in size from 25 to 50 feet in length. SIA currently offers two training courses as part of our "Learn to Race" program, each uses the same base syllabus but each has quite a different focus depending on students' requirements. One is a two day "Regatta Preparation Course" which is aimed at students who perhaps wish to start racing, the second is a two day "Performance Improvement Course" for those who have the basic racing knowledge but want to do it all better and faster. These courses are designed to be FUN in themselves as well as to make ensure students may participate in racing events with safety and confidence - Asian regattas really are magnificent and so much fun to do, (we do not miss a single one of them !), for more info do please click on "racing". |
