Sail in Asia Training - Phuket

Sail in Asia Training is located at Ao Yon Bay ( Cape Panwa) in Phuket and Pattaya Thailand. In Phuket we have the most beautiful beach side location where we keep our fleet of sailing and motor yachts. We have a shore base in a large Thai Balinese pool villa where we do many of our theory courses, in air conditioned and very pleasant surroundings.

All our courses are modular and cover both theory and practical subjects and skills. IYT courses are unique in that theory is never taught without practical and hence the student learns more quickly and more effectively. This modern teaching method is hugely advantageous to our students rather than old fashioned teaching methods (where theory is taught separate from practical).

Sail in Asia is the only 'ONE STOP SHOP' for motor and sailing yacht training in Asia. We offer you great value courses and high quality tuition with native Englih speaking Instructors who are experienced and well qualified. We teach students from our two day Learn to Sail (for beginners) to Master of Yacht 200 tons (for commercial captains).

Sail in Asia teaches both Recreational and Professional courses using the world's leading sail training and coaching system International Yacht Training - which is fully approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency/MCA. All SIA instructors are themselves IYT (or RYA) certified.

We are the only sea school in Asia that is licencenced and audited by IYT to offer MCA and USCG endorsed courses for STCW95 - Basic Safety Training for Commercial Seafarers. (Beware of any other sea schools purporting to be licenced IYT schools in Asia).
